We are pleased to announce that three AEA regions have been approved by the Iowa Department of Education using funds from the E-Learning Central Grant Program to provide secondary OpenSciEd professional development (grades 6-12).
This FREE training is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the award-winning science curriculum resource. This 2-day workshop is open to educators (grades 6-12) from ALL Iowa school districts. Participants will explore the instructional framework, knowledge, and materials AND receive a full unit kit to prepare for the successful implementation of an OpenSciEd unit. Stipends are provided for off-contract pay (or substitutes) as well as a stipend to offset attending in-person training costs.
